Welcome to HEART guitars & more, my custom shop for plucked string instruments.
As a trained plucked musical instrument maker I manually build all kinds of acoustic and electric plucked musical instruments. It´s all about guitar building and luthery in it´s very meaning. Those instruments are strictly made to the customer´s specs.
My custom shop is located in the heart of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Only the best tone-woods I use to manufacture custom-made one-of-a-kind- instruments by hand. A variety of high quality instruments you can check out in my showroom extensively.
The service contains professional advice as well as all services from string changing to modifications and complicated repairs and complex restorations.

Services
As usual in this traditional trade I only use high quality materials for crafting handmade custom intruments. Those materials are individually selected. While building I do not use CNC- machines, but only manual tools. So all of my electric and acoustic guitars, mandolins, basses and ukuleles are 100% hand made. Of course I can also build other kinds of plucked musical instruments if needed. Designs that are made by the customer can be realised as well. In every case I will work strictly to customer requirements.
For surface treatment I only use high quality staines, matt and high gloss varnish. In addition to that I offer you special art- instruments that are handpainted by the artist Nora Gauger.
Parallel to custom building instruments I also repair complicated defects and modificate your beloved instrument. Restoring instruments of sentimental, vintage and historic value is part of my work as well.
